The Social Enterprise Support Centre Contract Clubs

Friday, March 26th, 2010 | Posted in : |

The Contract Club programme is a series of monthly/weekly meetings for local organisations to come together, learn about different aspects of procurement, competitive tendering and partnership working. The Contract Club programme is open to small businesses, social enterprises or community organisations in Bradford.

Each meeting will last for no more than two hours with two sessions available. A monthly session running in the afternoon will cater for organisations which have very little or no experience of working on contracts, and need to do lots of research and preparation. An intensive weekly session will run in the morning for those with some experience of contracts, or who have done enough preparation to be able to complete a PreQualification Questionnaire.

Each session has a different theme, all based on preparing for and winning contracts. The sessions will be led by a facilitator to help the group learn together and support each other’s progress. It will also be a great opportunity to network, and a Business Coach from the Social Enterprise Support Centre (SESC) will be on hand to provide ongoing support and guidance.

“I found their advice and knowledge brilliant and the network and information opportunities offered by the Contract Club to be really excellent.”
Clive Whittaker, Bradford CVS

“the feedback from our delegate was excellent and there was certainly the feeling that the meeting had been very productive and beneficial.”
Dean Greenhough, Wool City Social Enterprise
