Vote for The Deaf Visitor Centre

SESC have been working with the Deaf Association in Bradford. They have put forward their project for a Deaf Visitor Centre to the Barclays take on ‘Small Step Competition’. This idea has a mixture of income generating and employment ideas targeted at the local deaf community.

It is British Science Week from September 10th to the 15th in and around the Bradford district. Just to give you a taster of what is to come we raided the events programme on the website (http://www.britishsciencefestival.org) to find a flavour what is in store. Social Futures Awards Deadline Approaches

Adult Mental Health Capital & Revenue Small Projects Fund

Bradford Council are inviting applications under the Adult Mental Health Capital and Revenue Small Projects Fund, which allows for revenue grants of up to £5,000 and capital grants of up to £50,000 to be made to organisations for one-off funding of schemes and projects of direct benefit to people with mental health needs and their carers.
