Contract Club Programme Launched
Friday, March 26th, 2010 | Posted in : SESC News, |
The Social Enterprise Support Centre has launched it’s contract clubs programme in Bradford as part of our Enterprising Communities initiative. The Contract Club programme is a monthly meeting for local organisations to come together, learn about different aspects of procurement, competitive tendering and partnership working – all to support the winning of locally contracted work.
Who is it for…?
The Contract Club programme is for any small business, social enterprise or community organisation that can commit to attending one morning or afternoon meeting per month for the six-month duration of the programme.
How will it run…?
Each meeting will last for no more than two hours. Each meeting has a different theme, all based on winning contracts. At each meeting there will be a guest presenter to get things started. Then there will be a facilitated session so that the group learns together and supports each other’s progress.
At the end of each meeting there will be time to network with others and a member of the Social Enterprise Support Centre (SESC) coaching team will be on hand to provide support and guidance on any specific contracting issues you have and let you know about the support on offer via the Enterprising Communities programme.
The themes and dates for the six meetings are:
Up For Grabs 4pm-6pm 14 April
Making an Impression 4pm-6pm 12 May
The More The Merrier 4pm-6pm 9 June
Risky Business 4pm-6pm 7 July
Scoring High and Raising Your Game 4pm-6pm 15 September
Proving It 4pm-6pm 13 October
All the meetings will be held at The Grid, Park Lane, Bradford.
Sound good…?
