Kirklees Funding Roadshows
Are you member of a voluntary and community group in Kirklees?
Are you looking for funding?
Kirklees Council Grants Officers Group have organised two free one-stop events where groups can find out what funds are available and get help in making their funding applications.
This year’s events will be at Huddersfield Town Hall on Thursday 8 July
Sessions will then be repeated at Cleckheaton Town Hall on Monday 19 July
There will be talks repeated to allow as many groups as possible to benefit,  between 1 – 3pm and 6.30 – 8.30pm
There will be stalls that visitors can browse in a separate room to the presentations full details at http://www.kirklees.gov.uk/grants
You can visit the stalls at any time during the event.
Between 3 – 6pm there will be the opportunity for one-to-one advice from funders.  You can sign up for a free 10 minute consultation with any of the funders on the day.  Also there will be computers available with staff onhand to help you in searching the internet for funding for your project.  Specialist community workers will also be available for more general advice on how to proceed with your funding applications.
These events are free, however it is essential to book in advance – you can book online
