Bradford Metropolitan District Council - Manningham & Rhodesway Swimming Pool Facilities Management
Tuesday, May 10th, 2011 | Posted in : Community Services, Health and Social Care, |
Due to significant reductions in public sector funding, the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council has had to make the difficult budget decision to withdraw funding from Manningham and Rhodesway swimming pools.
The Council is seeking business case proposals from individuals, businesses or community groups to take on the management of either or both of these pools. Examples of options that would be given consideration are:
- Community Transfer
- Transfer to Schools
- Transfer to Private Sector Business
It is strongly emphasised that proposals must be self-financing.
Deadline to complete a register of interest and provide a business case is 21st May 2011 at 4pm.
To receive an information pack and register your interest please visit the councils website at www.bradford.gov.uk and follow the 'Pool Closures - Expressions of Interest' link from the home page (or cut and paste this direct link into your browser http://www.bradford.gov.uk/surveys/MR/mrpools.htm)
