Doncaster Council and the Supporting People Partnership are inviting tenders from suitability experienced organisations or partnerships, to provide a housing related support service at the Fulwood House alcohol misuse project under a framework agreement.

Fulwood House is an accommodation based Alcohol project, which provides a range of services aimed towards meeting the needs of the clients, to enable them to achieve and sustain a dry lifestyle.

The project operates 12 units of short stay shared accommodation (currently based over three addresses within the Balby area of Doncaster) with 11 units of integrated floating support.

The successful organisation will deliver an effective support service, which should provide Clients with skills and confidence building to enable independent living to be achieved. It is also expected that the provider will facilitate housing management of the properties, and associated landlord agreements.

Prospective organisations should be aware, that the landlord of the Fulwood Drive properties has issued the current provider a notice to vacate the premises with effect of October 2010. Thus it will be necessary for those wishing to tender for this contract, to source and furnish 6 units of accommodation if successful in being awarded the contract.

The contract will be for a period of three years which may be extended up to two twelve month periods subject to performance and continued funding.

Applicants should be aware that Transfer of Undertaking (Protection of Employment Regulations (TUPE) may apply to this contract
