Description

Kirklees Primary Care Trust (PCT), acting as lead commissioner and working in conjunction with Kirklees Council, Calderdale PCT and Calderdale Council, is inviting suitable qualified and experienced providers to tender for a comprehensive, accessible and needs-led HIV support and prevention service across Kirklees and Calderdale.

The service is to provide HIV Support and Prevention across Kirklees and Calderdale to meet the expected outcomes and service objectives.

The Service Provider will:
- Be lead provider of HIV support and prevention services as part of an integrated network of providers offering sexual health services across Kirklees and Calderdale;
- Develop relationships with statutory and voluntary agencies to promote and improve service uptake and to facilitate improved knowledge around HIV and issues affecting people living with HIV (PLWH) through staff training and support;
- Liaise with referring professionals and partner agencies to ensure best outcomes for service users;
- Support the Commissioner in delivery of its duty (under the Health and Social Care Act 2001 Section 11) to make arrangements to involve and consult with clients and the public in the planning and organisation of services.
