Kirklees Imams Engagement Programme
Kirklees Council is seeking to establish a Kirklees Imams Engagement Project to engage a large percentage of Masjids, Madrasses, Imams and Scholars within Kirklees. It will deliver the message of the PREVENT Strategy (stopping people becoming or supporting terrorists and violent extremists) through a structured systematic engagement process and workshops. It will address challenging violent extremist ideology by improving theological understanding. It will also address elements of capacity building and addressing grievances.
