Doncaster Council and the Supporting People Partnership are inviting tenders from suitability experienced organisations or partnerships, to provide a housing related support service at the Open House plus homelessness project under a framework agreement.

Open House plus is an accommodation based homelessness project, which provides a range of services aimed towards meeting the needs of the clients, to enable them to achieve and sustain a tenancy.

The project operates 26 beds in purpose built hostel provision for homeless people open 24 hours a day 365 days a year. The accommodation, let on license is aimed at clients who have accepted the need to change

The successful organisation will deliver an effective support service, which should provide Clients with skills and confidence building to enable independent living to be achieved. It is also expected that the provider will facilitate housing management of the properties, and associated landlord agreements.

The contract will be for a period of three years which may be extended up to two twelve month periods subject to performance and continued funding.

Applicants should be aware that Transfer of Undertaking (Protection of Employment Regulations (TUPE) may apply to this contract.
