Project to develop a Risk and Resilience Curriculum Framework

Wakefield Metropolitan District Council's Family Services Directorate wishes to invite quotations for the development of the following project for children and young people from suitably qualified and experienced organisations.

Development of a Risk and Resilience Curriculum Framework

The project will develop an evidenced based, age/developmentally appropriate "Risk and Resilience Curriculum Framework" that clearly identifies and details the "core" competencies/ skills/ behaviour changes that are needed across the following domains: sex and relationships, nutrition, safety, smoking, drugs and alcohol for Universal settings including Schools and FE and targeted settings including Children's Centres and Integrated Youth Support Services across the 5-19 years age range.

The contract period for this service is 7 months from 1st December 2010 to 30th June 2011.

The available budget for the project is in the region of £50,000.
