Provision of Learning for Pupils Serving a Fixed-Term Exclusion-North Lincolnshire Council

All North Lincolnshire secondary schools need to make alternative learning arrangements for pupils who are given a fixed term exclusion of more than five days. Parents/Carers are responsible for excluded pupils for the first five days of the exclusion. In the case of children in the care of the Local Authority, the requirement is to provide alternative learning arrangements from day one of the exclusion. North Lincolnshire secondary schools have asked the Local Authority to act on their behalf in commissioning the central provision of a service that will meet these requirements for pupils excluded from North Lincolnshire secondary schools during the 2010/11 academic year.
