 Kirklees Council’s Strategic Housing Services are inviting quotations for a Removals and Storage Service for Household Furniture and Contents. The Council is the local housing authority for the Borough of Kirklees and amongst its functions has responsibility through Housing Options and Support Service of its Housing Services Department for delivery of services to the homeless and those in extreme housing need. An important element of the service is determining eligibility for access to temporary accommodation for households, either homeless or threatened with homelessness and if necessary the removal and storage of their household furniture contents and other household items and personal property and that of those who can reasonably be expected to reside with them. The service is provided from two offices within the Borough located in Huddersfield and Dewsbury.
