Bradford Metropolitan District Council-Raising Attainment and Aspiration in Yorkshire and the Humber
The Raising Attainment and Aspiration Project has been developed by a range of regional partners, including Government office for Yorkshire and The Humber and the Association of Directors of Children's Services. Funding has been provided for the project by YoHR Space, the Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership. Bradford MDC has agreed to host the project on behalf of partners.
The Partners are looking to appoint a suitably experienced organisation to undertake a two year project (starting round May 2010) to create a region-wide evidence bank of high quality research, validated examples of projects and programmes that have already been demonstrably successful in improving attainment and aspiration across the 0 -19 age range and that can act as a clearing house for improvement support.
The project will also involve the development of a web based access to this evidence base so that local authorities, individual schools and groups of schools across the region will be able to access practice studies, materials, research and data. Advice and support will also be developed on the most effective use of these materials.
