Service to Support Carers Impacted by Someone Else's Problem Drug and Alcohol Misuse
Kirklees Council and its local partners in NHS Kirklees and West Yorkshire Police and Probation services wish to commission a Service which will provide support to adult Carers affected by someone else's problem drinking or drug use, living within the Kirklees Council boundary.
The provision of a Service which supplies such support, and with partners, develops a range of options for Carers is seen as an important element in the future development of service provision within the Kirklees area.
The Service will use an approach based on the principles and features of co-production, as described and promoted by the ‘New Economics Foundation’, and the provision of the Service is seen as an important element in the future development of Health and Social Care in relation to substance misuse and in particular, provision for Carers and families in the Kirklees area.
