Tender for Provision of Drug Intervention Programme
Description The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council on behalf of the Bradford Safer Communities Partnership is seeking suitably qualified and experienced organisations to provide a range of services as part of the Drug Interventions Programme (DIP) including Administration and data inputting. The services required are offered in 2 lots. Lot 1 - Arrest Referral, involving the assessment and management of individuals in police custody who have 'tested positive on arrest'. - Restriction on Bail (RoB), involving the assertive monitoring and reporting of offenders subject to RoB. - A duty service in the Bradford District criminal courts to ensure those made subject of RoB engage with the DIP - Administration and data inputting for the DIP - Screening and delivering brief interventions to individuals for alcohol misuse Lot2 - Through Care and After Care, involving working with HM Prison Substance Misuse Teams and residential rehabilitation centres to engage and manage individuals upon their release. Supporting DIP clients to access housing. The contracts are offered in two Lots and will run for one year from 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011 with the Council having an option to extend for one year.
