Terry Yorath Residential Care Home for Physically Disabled Adults - Leeds City Council
Adult Social Care is seeking to procure an integrated package of care and support from a partner or partners to provide residential and short break provision for physical disabled residents
It plans to provide residential services at Terry Yorath House for current residents for whom Adult Social Care is committed to provide residential care for as long as they need and want it. However, a few of the current residents, have expressed an interest to better understand the option of supported living. Therefore, the new service should be designed to offer greater opportunity to residents for them to develop appropriate skills and gain the necessary experience to be able to make an informed choice for their futures
We also intend to continue to provide two respite places at Terry Yorath House. Respite breaks will be designed to provide disabled people with opportunities to extend their living and social skills in order to prepare themselves for living in their own properties
Therefore, we want to choose a service provider to work with us to develop specifications for the development of Terry Yorath House as outlined above.
