Doncaster Council and the Supporting People Partnership are inviting tenders from suitability experienced organisations or partnerships, to provide a housing related support service at the Wharf House homelessness project under a framework agreement.

Wharf House is an accommodation based homelessness project, which provides a range of services aimed towards meeting the needs of the clients, to enable them to achieve and sustain a tenancy.

Wharf House (Direct Access) - The project operates 14 units of Direct Access accommodation, the accommodation is aimed at people who have no accommodation they can access and two meals a day will be provided. The first step to helping people move away from street life.

Wharf House (Accommodation Based Service) ? operates 16 en-suite rooms in groups of four clustered around a shared communal kitchen. These rooms are aimed a clients who have a commitment to addressing their needs and working with the provider to move on.

The successful organisation will deliver an effective support service, which should provide Clients with skills and confidence building to enable independent living to be achieved. It is also expected that the provider will facilitate housing management of the properties, and associated landlord agreements.

The contract will be for a period of three years which may be extended up to two twelve month periods subject to performance and continued funding

Applicants should be aware that Transfer of Undertaking (Protection of Employment Regulations (TUPE) may apply to this contract.
